This Privacy Policy applies to the MealHustle mobile application (the “Application”) developed by J. O. Apps (the “Service Provider”). The Application is provided on an “AS IS” basis.
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects only the information necessary to provide its core functionality. This includes:

Recipe data, meal plans, and grocery lists you create, stored locally on your device

Microphone and speech recognition input used solely to support voice-based recipe entry

Subscription status managed through Google Play Store and Apple's App Store
The Application does not collect IP addresses, usage analytics, crash reports, or any other telemetry. No personal data is transmitted to third parties.
Microphone and Speech Recognition
The Application requests access to your device's microphone and speech recognition framework to support the optional voice recipe entry feature.

Microphone audio is processed on-device or through the platform's speech recognition service solely to transcribe spoken recipe information.

Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to the Service Provider or any third party.
You may deny microphone access at any time in your device Settings. Doing so will disable the voice entry feature but will not affect any other functionality.
Subscription and Purchases
The Application offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Subscription billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled entirely by Apple or Google.
The Service Provider does not have access to your payment information. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
Third-Party Services
The Application does not knowingly share personally identifiable information with third parties, except as required to operate the Application or comply with legal obligations.
Speech recognition is powered by on-device and server-side frameworks provided by Apple or Google, subject to their own privacy policies.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider retains user-provided information only on your local device for as long as you use the Application. No data is stored on external servers.
If you would like your data deleted, you may delete the Application from your device at any time, which will remove all locally stored data.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it at any time. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or through the mobile application marketplace.
Security
The Service Provider takes reasonable measures to protect your information and uses physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
Children’s Privacy
The Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information through the Application, please contact the Service Provider so that appropriate action can be taken.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Application after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
